Kelly is the Managing Director of Sparrowhawk Legal and oversees the day-to-day running of the business. With a BA (Hons) in Law with Social Policy from the University of Central Lancashire, Kelly brings both a legal background and entrepreneurial spirit to the firm.
Although she leaves the legal casework to the in-house experts, Kelly plays a vital role in shaping the direction and values of Sparrowhawk Legal. Her passion lies in building a small business that delivers a big impact - helping clients secure the safe, secure housing they deserve.
Kelly’s journey into law began at her father’s suggestion and after earning her degree, she spent over two decades running her own businesses before returning to the legal world to launch Sparrowhawk Legal. Her leadership style? As she puts it, a “demented control freak workaholic perfectionist” - qualities that ensure high standards and unwavering commitment behind the scenes.
Outside of work, Kelly channels her creativity into glass art, keeps active with Thai boxing and teaches Animal Flow. If she weren’t running Sparrowhawk, she'd be running a donkey sanctuary, proving her passion for making a difference extends well beyond the legal world.
We are a small team, but that only makes us stronger. We don't take on volume workloads and we like to look after our clients. We understand just how stressful living in a home that's not safe and well maintained can be and we are here to help you!

Our fees are usually covered by a no win no fee agreement in respect of housing disrepair claims and our success fee is capped at 33%. For landlords we offer a tailored fee structure dependent on the complexity of the case and the stage of the matter.
